By the way, we are at Falcon Meadows Campground at 6800 elevation looking at the14,110 Pikes Peak. In the few hours we have been here we have seen falcons, gophers, rabbits, pronghorn deer, and meadow larks! It is about 70 plus degrees here with lovely winds. Ahh, Colorado!

YAY!!! Looks like you will be happily ensconced in Colorado. Do drink lots and lots of water, it helps with adjustment to altitude. And naps too!!!
