On our days off this week, we went to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, had a walk and lunch in Montrose and then hiked the Tumble Creek Trail, south of us . We had to push ourselves to finish the trail as it was 12,120 ft, but we did it and it was so worth it. The views were outstanding.
It was hard to get photos of the Black Canyon as the gorge is 2700 ft. Deep and the sun was facing us much of the time, but these pictures should give a feel of it.
