With full expectations of morning work, we learned there was no one checking out, so we had most of the day to ourselves. There was a great Arts and Crafts Show in town and we splurged to buy a beautiful bowl inspired by the art of the aspen tree.
We then took a drive up to the base of Big Blue, saw green pastures, sheep and cows grazing and felt peace.
In the evening after jeep washing, we went to a Michael Martin Murphy Concert in a little outside venue behind a small BBQ joint and heard Wild Fire and many of the old hits. One of his band players, 19 yr. old Shawn Richardson was the man to watch with perfect pitch and tremendous talent on the banjo, violin and guitar. Met some great people of similar background and views at the picnic table and the concert went on despite the rain. A wonderful end to a perfect Tuesday.
